About BeeTree
In 1896 the Bee Tree School was built on the 20 acre section of property that we now own. The area between the East and North forks of the Lewis river was a renowned forest growing some of the largest Douglas Firs in the nation. To learn more about the history of the school and surrounding area also bearing the name Bee Tree see these links:

But now we are growing more than timber here. Like a nurse tree gives rise to the life of a new sapling we too are grafting ourselves onto this land and its story. We are here to watch and assist the forest regenerate and grow into a healthy old growth forest on a healthy watershed. 18 acres of our 20 acre forest are currently forested or being reforested. We are working with Lower Columbia Fish Enhancement Group and the Department of Fish and Wildlife on restoring complexity and creating habitat for Salmon, Beavers and other wildlife on the 1000 ft of the Salmon bearing stream, Mason Creek we have the honor of stewarding.
