About the Land

The Bee Tree Forest Retreat Center is nestled on 20 acres, north of Battle Ground in an area of rolling hills that once grew some of the mightiest Douglas fir forests in the nation. You will be surrounded by a mature forested wetland, seasonal creek, wildlife, and meandering trails. Named after the one room Bee Tree School that was formerly on this property. Sadly demolished in the 80’s, the school served early pioneers who farmed and loggers the in this area. Look for old stumps leftover from this era around the property as you explore.
